![]() I don't like that this game didn't get a 'full' physical release, but I understand why it was done. But I want to get the day 1 download stuff out of the way first. Just to preface, I think it's this a fantastic remake. Instead it stays true to the original games and offers you a modern touch that breath life into the fantastic franchise that is Spyro. At the end of the day then even though the camera can be a little bit of a pain at times this trilogy doesn’t suffer with any major issues. It also carries a retro vibe with it as well and if you enjoyed the original game’s you’ll be pleased to know that the story is as funny as ever and the controls feel better than ever as well. Everything about this trilogy has been given the modern touch and from the very good visuals and sound design you can tell that a lot of thought and effort has gone into this remaster. The Crash Bandicoot remaster lived up to the hype so that meant I had high hopes when it came to the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and thankfully I’m pleased to say that it doesn’t disappoint. Most people would probably rate this an 8-9, but I give it a 10 based purely on my own nostalgia of the franchise and how grateful I am that we got an honest remaster without bloating the game with extra content to make it seem relevant.
